Whenever I visited my grandparents, my grandpa often (jokingly) said, “Come again when you can’t stay so long!” This phrase was repeated endlessly by other family members, especially after he passed away. My Grandpa Ken inspired me to create this embroidered piece as a more permanent reminder of his humor. 

The design for this embroidered piece was inspired by the era he lived in and features a vintage car, a retro suitcase, and, of course, the wood wall paneling. I hope this piece brings you some joy and to also remind guests to please come again... when they can’t stay so long.

This piece is framed with basic glass on top and a wire on the back to make hanging easy.
